Microfibre Dog Towel FAQs
Why should I choose a microfibre towel over a regular towel for my pet?
Two words: comfort and efficiency. Microfibre cloths are incredibly soft and absorbent, making them ideal for use on both skin and fur. We believe it’s fair to say that a lot of dogs (and cats, for that matter) don’t particularly enjoy bathtime or being wet, and a comfortable towel that quickly wicks away moisture goes a long way to making the experience more pleasurable for both the washer and the washed. Speeding up the drying process also means a shorter overall bathtime, reducing stress on both sides of the sponge.
Are microfibre towels safe for pets with sensitive skin?
Yes, they are. Microfibre towels are incredibly soft and gentle, making them fit for use on pets with sensitive skin. Ultra-absorbent, Paragon Microfibre pet towels require less rubbing to dry effectively than conventional or natural fibre towels, further reducing potential skin irritation and friction.
How long do microfibre dog towels last?
A microfibre dog towel from Paragon Microfibre may last up to 500 machine wash cycles if taken care of according to the instructions. Our microfibre towels are manufactured using high-quality materials, machinery, and processes for superior, lasting quality. To get the most out of your pet drying towels:
- Hang the towels to air dry after use. Bundled into a bunch and forgotten about, wet microfibre towels may develop an odour.
- After drying, do not leave the towel with your cat or dog. They’re very soft and pets love playing with them; however, their teeth and claws could get snagged, damaging the towels.
- Hand or machine wash your microfibre products using cool or warm water up to 60°C. Do not use fabric softeners or bleach, as these chemicals harm the towels’ absorbency. To avoid warping, air dry or tumble dry at a low heat setting.
- Store your pet towels in a dry space away from dust. Store them flat or folded.
How often should I wash a microfibre dog towel?
This depends entirely on how often it’s used and how it’s used. Drying three long-haired collies after a muddy forest adventure isn’t the same as drying a poodle's paws after a short walk around the block. As long as the towel is allowed to dry in between uses, we recommend washing it when it is visibly soiled or the first hint of odour is detected.
