Paragon Microfibre Ltd
We have two types of lens cleaning cloths available. Fishscale and our optical polishing cloths. Our fishscale and optical cloths come in a convenient 15 x 15 cm size, each with unique characteristics. The Fishscale cloth is a heavy-duty option recommended for environments with more dirt and grime, such as outdoor work or sports eyewear like goggles for skiing, biking, and sailing. On the other hand, our optical cloth are much softer and finer, making them ideal for cleaner environments and delicate glasses that require a gentler touch.
Why are microfibre cloths the best for glasses?
Suitable for both reading glasses and sunglasses, our microfibre cloths are the ultimate solution for your glasses. With their remarkable smudge-free properties, they provide an excellent cleaning experience for the delicate glasses lenses. The super soft texture ensures that every wipe is gentle and effective, making it easy to remove fingerprints and grease, ensuring the best results possible.
Unlike traditional cleaning products, microfibre cloths require no additional chemicals or cleaning agents. They're chemical-free, making them perfect for sensitive surfaces. The cloths easily removes dirt and dust with just a few easy swipes, without any scratches or damage to the delicate surface of the lens. In addition, the microfiber cloth prevents scratches while providing a thorough clean to your glasses.
Using microfibre cloths is much easier than other cleaning methods too. As there is no need to spray additional cleaning products on the glasses, you can wipe your glasses clean without even taking them off. Microfibre cloths are perfect for those on the go and can be carried in your glasses case, allowing you to clean your glasses wherever you may be.
Our microfibre cloths are highly effective on the toughest of stains, but gentle enough to use on any glasses. Unlike other cleaning products which simply smear dirt and dust around, microfibre cloths absorb any dirt or dust particles on your glasses, leaving them clean and polished. The soft texture of the cloth ensures that there is no damage to the lens, and your glasses look brand new.
What other jobs do these cloths suit?
These cloths are great for all sensitive surfaces such as tv screens, laptops, phones, and camera lenses.
Are glasses cleaning cloths lint free?
Yes, our microfibre glass cloths are completely lint free.
There's nothing worse than cleaning with a microfibre cloth that leaves fabric lint everywhere. The cause of this is poor manufacturing. Microfibre fabric requires 'splitting', which breaks down the fibres allowing the material to become soft, fine and absorbent. However, when the machinery & caustic soda splits the fibre too much, the cloth will slowly break down and lint. We work with the highest graded machinery to ensure this does not happen with ours.
Can you wash microfiber glasses cloth?
We recommend washing our cloths at around 40 degrees. We make our cloths of the highest quality fabrics, which allows washing up to 95 degrees. However, shrinkage will occur in the initial few washes, up to 5%. Also, our cloths can be tumbled dried, which can be beneficial as it opens the fibres. Unlike most microfibre cloths our fibres will not burn at elevated temperatures.
Please do not use any fabric softeners/conditions when washing our glass cloths. Fabric softeners/conditions will leave a coating on fabrics, preventing the microfibres from working efficiently.
We would only recommend throwing away one of these cloths when you have cleaned a mess which consists of sticking, or glue-like substance, or those that are extremely dirty. To prevent accidental damage to a surface, you are cleaning.
