How good are microfibre damps mops?
Microfibre damp mops are super-efficient at removing dirt and grime from rigid, wooden laminate and tiling floors. These wet mops work with capillary action, which draws soiling into the mop, effectively cleaning the area with ease. Also, they can be laundered up to 500 times, making them far better for the environment than disposable mops. Our mops have a velcro fixing making it super easy to change mop heads.
What are the benefits of microfibre damp mops

- Capillary action when used damp which draws soiling into the mop
- Soft material ideal for sensitive surfaces
- Velcro fixing
- Can be laundered over 500 times
- Quick to dry
- Lightweight
- Slim, can fit under furniture
Which size best suits your needs
This depends on the surface area you will regularly be cleaning. For small houses or offices etc., we recommend the 50 x 15, and for larger homes, you may require the 60 x 15 cm.
How to use
We have designed our mops for extreme ease of use. Our mop handles have a universal joint which attaches to our bases, and the bottom of the base has velcro strips which allow for easy mop head instalment. The mop heads are more significant than the base to allow good cleaning into the area where skirting meets flooring. Mopping should be carried out in a figure of 8 to ensure collected waste is on the leading edge of the mop.
How to care for microfibre damp mops
We recommend washing our mops at around 40 degrees Celsius. We make our mops of the highest quality fabrics, which allows washing up to 95 degrees Celsius. However, shrinkage will occur in the initial few washes, up to 5%. Also, our mops can be tumbled-dried, which can be beneficial as it opens the fibres. Finally, unlike most microfibre mops, our threads will not burn at elevated temperatures.
Please do not use any fabric softeners/conditions when washing our mop heads. Fabric softeners/conditions will leave a coating on fabrics, preventing the microfibres from working efficiently.
Lint-free microfibre mops
There's nothing worse than cleaning with a microfibre mop that leaves fabric lints everywhere. The cause of this is poor manufacturing. Microfibre fabric requires 'splitting', which breaks down the fibres allowing the material to become soft, delicate and absorbent. However, when the machinery & caustic soda splits the thread too much, the material will slowly break down and lint. We work with the highest graded machinery to ensure this does not happen with ours.
