Microfibre car cleaning products encompass a wide range of cloths, mitts, pads, and other soft cleaning materials that make use of microfibre technology for a superior clean. Microfibre is a synthetic material made from very fine polyester and polyamide (nylon) fibres that are as thin as 1/300th of a human hair. These fibres are packed together in a dense structure with tiny channels that soak up and hold dirt, dust, and liquids.

• Superior absorbency: Microfibre can hold up to several times its own weight in water (depending on the cloth’s density or GSM count), making it exceptionally effective at soaking up liquids and drying surfaces.
• Quick drying and versatile: Microfibre cloths dry faster than natural fibres, making them less prone to developing mildew or unpleasant odours. 

Yes, microfibre cloths are soft and versatile enough to use on all car surfaces, including windows, paint, chrome, and interiors. Although nothing is stopping you from using one cloth for your whole car, choosing the right product for the right part can make cleaning even faster and more efficient. Realistically, it depends. Microfibre cloths offer exceptional cleaning qualities on most surfaces due to their ultra-fine fibre structures, even without chemicals, soaps, or detergents. That being said, specialised car cleaning soaps and polishes will make the job slightly easier and faster as they break down grime for even faster removal and leave your car with a polished shine that won’t be easy to achieve without the right compound.
