Which jobs best suit our heavyweight drying towels

This is an extremely high quality plush, soft towel used in the automotive trade for polish application, removal, drying & quality polishing, the thick 1,000gsm pile makes removing substances light work from any surfaces, this cloth also has a high dust retention and water absorbency due to the thick pile.

How does a higher GSM effect a cloth/towel

Grams per square metre (GSM), is the density of the microfibre product. No matter what type of weave or length of pile a cloth has, the higher the GSM, the more suited it is to absorb moisture.

What are the benefits of our heavyweight drying towels

  • Maximum softness
  • High GSM
  • Incredibly absorbent
  • Quick to dry
  • Strong durability
  • Streak free finish
  • Can be laundered up to 500 times

Which size best suits your needs

The smaller 40 x 40cm size is ideal for polish application and removal.

The thick plush texture removes any coating applied to the surface with ease, while the larger 60 × 60 cm and 80 × 60 cm versions are excellent for drying, buffing and polishing.

Lint free microfibre towels

There's nothing worse than cleaning with a microfibre cloth that leaves fabric lints everywhere. The cause of this is poor manufacturing. Microfibre fabric requires 'splitting', which breaks down the fibres allowing the material to become soft, fine and absorbent. However, when the machinery & caustic soda splits the fibre too much, the cloth will slowly break down and lint. We work with the highest graded machinery to ensure this does not happen with ours.

How to care for your microfibre 1000gsm cloth/towel

We recommend washing our cloths at around 40 degrees. We make our cloths of the highest quality fabrics, which allows washing up to 95 degrees. However, shrinkage will occur in the initial few washes, up to 5%. Also, our cloths can be tumbled dried, which can be beneficial as it opens the fibres. Unlike most microfibre cloths our fibres will not burn at elevated temperatures.

Please do not use any fabric softeners/conditions when washing our 1000 gsm. Fabric softeners/conditions will leave a coating on fabrics, preventing the microfibres from working efficiently.

We would only recommend throwing away one of these cloths when you have cleaned a mess which consists of sticking, or glue-like substance, or those that are extremely dirty. To prevent accidental damage to a surface, you are cleaning.
